The "Red Box Audax" semi-submersible marine heavy transport vessel loaded with the last two module fabrications for Yamal LNG, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant being built at northeast of the Yamal Peninsula in Russia, is leaving for Russia at a port of Offshore Oil Engineering Qingdao Co. Ltd. in Qingdao city, east China's Shandong province, 16 August 2017. The "Red Box Audax" semi-submersible marine heavy transport vessel delivered the last two module fabrications for Yamal LNG, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant being built northeast of the Yamal Peninsula in Russia, from the port city of China's Qingdao to Russia on Wednesday (16 August 2017). Yamal is a liquefied natural gas project located deep in the Russian Arctic. It is expected to start operating next year. 85 percent of the liquefied natural gas will be transported to the Asia Pacific market. PetroChina is the second largest shareholder of the project. 3 million tons of liquefied natural gas will be transported to China annually.
