Tepoztlán is a town in the state of Morelos, in south-central Mexico. Is a popular tourist destination, due to its proximity to Mexico City and its very pleasant climate. It is famous for the remains of the pyramid built on top of the mountain Tepozteco, and also for the exotic ice cream prepared by the people of the village, as well as their handicrafts. Tepoztlán is considered as a mystical place for its legends and traditions that are still respected by the same inhabitants, many people visit it because all year long it is full of celebrations that people do depending on the neighborhood in which they live. One of the most anticipated festivities is the Day of the Dead, when people go out with their children carrying a traditional chilacayota in the form of a skull.
