The Western Balkan nation's voters are set to choose their representatives in the 250-seat National Assembly on 21 June. The balloting was originally scheduled for 26 April, but it was postponed due to the state of emergency declared in a bid to contain the spread of the ongoing pandemic of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The ruling SNS-led big tent coalition – named 'For Our Children' – currently holds a majority of 131 seats in the National Assembly and 63 out of 120 seats in the unicameral legislature of the autonomous province of Vojvodina.
