Baroque altarpiece of the Sanctuary of the Miracle, Riner, Catalonia, Spain. The Renaissance altarpiece in the Santísimo chapel, from 1530, has been attributed to the Portuguese painter based in Barcelona, Pere Nunyes. It consists of a total of 18 paintings on panel that represent scenes from the mysteries of the Rosary. In the upper part there is a central painting where the Coronation of the Virgin by the Holy Trinity is represented. It is not the original panel, the one whose subject is unknown, but a copy of the Coronation of Mary in the heavens by Diego Velázquez. The baroque altarpiece that presides over the church is from the 18th century made by the sculptor Carles Morató, it is located in the central apse, it has a height of 23 meters and a width of 12 meters, it is formed by three superposed bodies, and presided over by the image of the Virgin representing the apparition: he holds a cross in his hand and appears to address the shepherds, one kneeling and the other as if fleeing in fear.
